Founded in 2000, the XC & Track Club at NC State has evolved from a small group of friends running together to a burgeoning national-level club team under the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide an environment for students at NC State University to begin or continue running at any level, whether for fun or to train and compete at a high level. As a part of this mission, we strive to:
Be an open, welcoming, close group of friends that students can rely upon throughout their time at NC State
Provide an environment where Distance, Sprints, and Field Event athletes can thrive and continue to set PRs
Win regional and national-level NIRCA championships as a team and as individuals
Be welcoming and supportive of runners of all levels who wish to join our group
